Located in downtown Taipei, on the 1st floor of a 40 years old building this apartment designed by Ganna Studio was especially envisioned as a cozy, sweet home for 2 designers, but also as a place of work inspiration. The neighborhood where the project is located used to be a military dependents’ village. Therefore, all the houses in the community preserve lot of old historical elements, hinting the trace back to the original Taipei.
In order not to destroy those old historical elements, the designers kept the building structures intact, while adding a little reconstruction for longer usage. European classic interior design touches make the place long lasting and comfortable. The layout is extremely practical in its simplicity and offers more than is needed for an office space and a welcoming home alike.
